I agree to what has been said up that sending emails is one thing and getting a good inbox rate is another thing. Well it is about configuration of the tools you are using.

Hi,
I am planning to do email campaign.
and I just searched on BHW and found that there are lot of software available and best one is Mail Mascot, but it is out of my budget at this time.
Can any one let me know any free software for email campaign..

You should always be using a service that can provide you Live reports of what your doing Clicks + Deliveries + Bounces + Blocks. I will recommend you to please use a software which is providing dedicated stuff, as per my suggestion I will recommend you to use "Imailunlimited" they are best one which I have found. The main point in there company is they don't have any shared service, so the SMTPs, IPs and Domain are very effective and worthable. Rather then wasting time on a platform which is shared and not clear listed on blacklist will never work for you to deliver the emails right to Inbox. So I will recommend you to use "Imailunlimited" for your campaign if your really serious about email marketing.

I've been using Get Response however as of late have been having some issues with deliverability issues wit Hotmail emails.

powermta ( pmta ) is smtp server software.. its good if you want to have own smtp server .. lots of good ESPs use powermta like mailchimp

Mailchimp has actually moved to mandrill MTA which is their inhouse software. Even SendGrid has developed their own MTA solution and many other major esp's will follow. The actual delivery of emails only matter on the reputation, PSU.com sends via sendmail php script and inboxes everytime ONLY because of the great reputation.
