Email marketing Software?

Hi,

I am planning to do email campaign.
and I just searched on BHW and found that there are lot of software available and best one is Mail Mascot, but it is out of my budget at this time.
Can any one let me know any free software for email campaign..

Email marketing is not an easy nut to crack as it may seem to many newbies here. There are several technicalities to be addressed like smtp, bounce rates, click rates and many more like the risk of your IP's being blacklisted. I would not recommend sendblaster on you local computer. Infact, I am not inclined to any local solutions . I believe in the use of a VPS, that will completely shield you from getting your ISP going nuts with you.

Now, go get a cheap VPS like berman hosting or hostamus. Get interspire (You can find it in this forum i guess)

Finally: - Focus on authority ... authority. Clean your lists, Dont spam, Setup RDNS, SPF
As you keep using your Interspire setup, you will then see the need to rotate your ips ...that is when you start sendign over 40k per day.

When I started mailing years ago, I used a custom version of Interspire. Even the current version is missing a ton of things and besides, it is slow as hell.
Since you stated that your budget is very tight, I won't recommend you a real mailer platform but if you know PHP, you can try building your own front end for PMTA (port25). I think version 3 can be found online.

Also, what will you be mailing? GI (general Internet) or TLDs (top level domains like gmail, yahoo, hotmail, aol, etc...)
Each TDLs have their own inbox strategies/rules, sending hourly/daily limits, etc...

I can probably write a book about mailing.

Anyhow, if you don't know too much, maybe you should use an ESP (email service provider) like aweber, they offer the first month for $1.00

Set up Interspire Email Marketing script on your server and send unlimited emails directly to inbox. I am using it without any spam issue.
 
If you want to be able to send better volume, you need a dedicated server with a lot of memory (8GB) and yet, you will still only be able to send 10K-30K per hour. Also, without a custom script, you won't be able to have it rotate through your IPs. Also, if you know a VPS giving out /24, let me know. Usually, they won't give you more than 13 IPs (/28) with a VPS.
 
I have heard that Aweber is the email marketing software. You guys can give a try.
 
aweber is not the only ESP, mailchimp is another good one.
I can post a link of 10-20 ESP if you want.

That's what I was thinking. IEM is definitely not the best. It is, however, (in addition to send blaster) a good place to start to get your feet wet. You'll soon find that sending emails is one thing - inboxing with these programs is another...

Been using IEM. But guys can you tell me something like BHAR? I need to have a good auto responder but dont want to use Gmail as I do blackhat.

I think that email mark. is good only when you have about 1mln mail base.
