Email Marketing ORM?

I've tried before but didn't end up with so much success. they honestly don't care.

How many did you email if you don't mind me asking?
Also, did you hear anything back at all?
I have sent about 50 or so direct letters and have only gotten 2 calls back so far. I'm trying to think of ways to get more.

I've emailed 23 clients and none of them replied :/

Emailing and mailing yield very different results. I would agree that nobody cares about email. When was the last time you through away a hand addressed letter without at least opening it to see what it said?

That's true, but I have sent out around 80 letters so far and have gotten only 2 calls back.
But I just half assed tried sending emails to some companies around here (around 500 so far) and I have gotten 5 or more replies back.
I was not expecting that at all.
I might try email marketing to see how well it goes, but not put a lot of money into it.
But we shall see.

Probably around 2 weeks total. I had one meeting, but they haven't called me back yet.
I'm going to call them tomorrow to see what they say. I followed up with a few people from my first batch, but they were rude and didn't want to have anything to do with it or they just didn't want to put money into it.
