Hey Guys,

I've always been advised that after the customer signs up their email, you should send them an email every day for about 5 days before sending them the sales email for your affiliate product.

In regards to the emails you send during the 5 day period, should the content be within the email, or should there be a link to a blog where your quality content is hosted?

Thanks

It is better to have the content within the email accompanied with the link to your website or blog.

Send an email everyday if you really want to have people unsubscribe left and right. My max was always 3 a week but I usually sent 2. But hey, what do I know about email marketing?

Write a brief content in email newsletter to attract their attention and by their curiosity they end up clicking the link and get to your landing page.

It is better to put a little introduction within the body of the email and then leave a link that will take them to your blog or landing page.

A common thing you should do with email marketing followup is prepare a neat and different way of proposals about your affiliate product with your blog or site link. Then send your proposals on your customer's inbox everyday. I hope this will give you success on email marketing.

Good Luck!

In the case of Opt in subscribers you can talk about your sales pages, products etc straight away. The people who opt to listen from you are actually interested in your products or content related to your product, this is why they opted in and it make sense to send content introducing your product with a link to your blog, or even sales page.

Thanks,
