Email Marketing automation

Hello, i want to ask you guys, if programs like http://www.woodpecker.com or accelemail.com are needed if i'm already using SMTP program for example sendgrid.com ?

In other words, do i need to use woodpecker/accelemail or other email marketing automation tool if i already have a smtp server like sendgrid?

Can't I just send 100'000 emails each day directly from SMTP , without a need to use accelemail or woodpecker or anything similar like this?

Please explain me!

First of all, sites you provided, all are wrong addresses.

Second is, those are just email marketing software. They cant send emails without SMTP.
Those software just automate the emailing part, but to send an email they will use SMTP provided by you.
Again, you need some script ( if you are not a coder) like those, to use SMTP to send email.

In total, you need both if you are not a coder.

Ture that, an email marketing software supplies your campaign/emails to the Mail Server/ Email Relay (SMTP Server), the sending operation is performed by the MTA utility.
