Hey,
I'm looking for advice, maybe you'll be able to help me. Thanks in advance!
Here's the thing I have a small email list of 3k emails, they are all my customers so everything is legit. And I want to start doing
some more advanced email marketing campaigns, and I'm wondering which route should I go.
Before I used to send email newsletters to this list using Getresponse I was quite satisfied with the delivery rate and open rate but
it seemed like I'm still missing quite a lot. So I decided that I should divide this list into separate segments and send them different emails
to increase conversion rate. Here's an example.
All customers - 3k
Old customers (2 years) - 1k
Returning Customers - 500
Category 1 Buyers - 1k
Category 2 Buyers - 600
Blog posts subscribers - 500
It's just an example, possibly there would be even more lists.
I've not used Getrespons for like 8 months now but as I can remember when I wanted to create another segment of emails (to add another list)
they charged me for these emails, even though they were the same emails from the original list. Maybe I was doing somethin wrong or that's just
how they do business. Maybe you know this better?
So the thing is I'm thinking of using email marketing tool like Getresponse again or to set up my own emailing system, of course it would take much more time
and a lot of testing but I think it's completely doable. Because right now I think email marketing tools like Getresponse are quite overpriced.
Which option do you think is better? Also, maybe you have some good email marketing tools to offer just like Getresponse or mailchip (even though I hate this one)
