Hello,
I have large databases of emails (businesses and individuals) and I'm thinking maybe I could monetize them with Clickbank?
Anyone here that uses this strategy?
I'm new to clickbank so any help is welcome.
thx!

Other than tracked and optimized Media Buys and PPC, there is absolutely NOTHING more golden than monetized email lists BUT only if the lists consist of individuals who legally and ethically opted-in (and most importantly) are interested to receive updates/daily or weekly news/ discounted offers etc. which all evolve around a certain niche (Golf, Arthritis, Mobile Marketing, etc.).

As for Clickbank, from our 11 years of experience, monetized and professionally "maintained" email lists can generate fantastic conversions with Clickbank offers but again, the offer must appeal to the target audience, the list must be legally constructed, and the offer must convert at a reasonable rate.

We have, for example, products which convert at 12.2%-15.1% for targeted email traffic.

Mike.

Listen carefully, pishty, if your email lists are legal and consist of authentic subscribers who opted-in to join your lists, PM me right now.

Depending on the size and relevancy of your list audience, you can become a rich man in no time. I am not exaggerating or bragging. 11 years of personal experience talking.

PM me today if you're interested.

Mike.
Thanks Mike for the reply.
Well, my lists are collected from different sources (such online directories) and most of them are businesses. So it's not the high quality you're talking about.
Is there any hope to monetize them through Clickbank?

Can you first explain what you meant by "collected from different sources"? (especially the word "collected" if you may).

Mike.

I gathered them from publicly available directories

If that is the case, then I am afraid to say that other than a huge amount of spam complaints to your hosting provider, you'll get very little results from these lists
and conversions to almost any offer would be closer to zero than ever. Sorry to be harsh.

Mike.

and also if you want to aviod complaints then you need to warm up your server and its a big pain in ass :)

yeah, your right
so it looks like I will have to find another way to monetize my lists

Those lists are publicly available and are already spammed to death. Do not expect to have big (if any) conversion rate. Another problem will be getting the e-mails to the inbox and not the spam folder, but this is not on topic.

Also if I send bulk offers isn't clickbank going to ban my account?

No, but you won't have any conversions.

You e-mail has to go to their inbox so they can read it. Then, they have to be interested in that product - would you like help with getting pregnant for example? It is their work e-mail, so most of them read it during work - if it has nothing to do with it they will most likely close it and forget about it. Furthermore, you are not the first to think of that, these lists are publicly available on some sites.

Yes, you're right. I was just thinking of a method to monetize them and thought maybe cb was good idea.
But it looks like it isn't :P

if there is any complaint from someone who received an unwanted email from you , yes, your account is under risk. Clickbank will ask you to prove that person opted-in, so If you work with an opt-in list , then you can show that mail is not "unwanted".

I only heard of a few people being banned by using email marketing. Clickbank normally reports the complain on your inbox and they give you some time to respond back.

Well I guess there are many who actually use this kind of lists and send unwanted emails. But I wonder what's the success rate

Very poor if any rate at all. Imagine the recipients of those emails having their mailboxes spammed to death by every Moe and Joe out there every single day...

Logic tells me that most of those email address owners have completely abandoned their spammed email addresses out of pure desperation (and changed them to a different email hosts which they would never share with the public again...)
