    You know ive done it very successfully with american lists but UK seems tough.

    I totally agree that buying email lists is the worst thing you can do. People treat that as spam, and you gain far more haters than likers.

    I give away genuinely helpful gifts to help build my list of people who want to hear from me. When I show people that they come first and that I'm offering for free something that can really help them solve a problem or get something started . . . then they are happy and want to keep hearing from. It's a win-win situation. You help other people, and at the same time, you are helping yourself. And that's a great feeling

    sry, but imho thats very bad too, you will build alist of freebie seekers. the best way of doing it is to drive traffic to a landing page for a product and if they are not interested in that product and try to leave your site then let a cpa offer pop up and then if they try to leave cpa offer let a capture page pop up offering info on a specific topic for free. you would be amazed how often you get al 3 things if your traffic is good! works best in IM/SEO niche because people will see that you are very good at what you are doing!
