Hi. I'm new to BlackHat. I see so many smart people on this site with great ideas, making money, being successful. I'm lost. I research one thing, try a few things, run into complications. This is why I'm asking for help.

I have 2 lists of good, active email address including full details --one at 100K, and the other at 70K. List A is from CPG (consumer packaged goods) and List B is from homesteading. Any thoughts on how I can leverage these for an unrelated new business I'm starting?

I thought of setting up a ColdFusion webserver because creating a simple email sender is easy that way, but I'm not sure that's the right way to go. I've used Klaviyo, but they've flagged me for using a list of 100 and having an unsubscribe rate of 2.6% (not sure how 2.6 people unsubscribe).

If I can't use the email lists for jumpstarting my new business, what should I use them for? Filling my virtual garbage?

Thanks in advance for any helpful words.

The easiest way would be:

1. Filter the lists with Zerobounce and check-mail.org
2. Get 5x Windows VPS with each 1 IP and open port 25
3. Install hmailserver and setup with domains etc.
4. Get nulled version of IEM or Mailwizz or Mumara from fiver to send emails or just use PHPMailer
5. Randomize your list and split it into 1k emails files and then send 1k per day per server and put the Unsubscribe link at the top and 1 click unsub
6. Focus on removing unsubs and hard/soft bounces from your list
6. Once done with your lists get onboarded again, ie. retry with Klaviyo and others

This is nice. What’s the inbox rate of this set up? Also is this better than using a mailing app that uses something like multiple outlook accounts to send bulk emails?

Your inboxing will be great at the beginning, the more people hit 'SPAM' button on Gmail/Hotmail, the less likely inbox will happen. Also, inboxing depends a lot on the text and url used in the the email (without url its much easier). You can add another step of warming up, but its more costly, as people will click 'spam' nevertheless. First, you want the cheapest way of getting rid of all unwanted emails and then, with the clean list, go to an reputable ESP to send your emails.

My tutorial is more a way of getting into mailing the easiest way, you will figure out much ore later on. Using Hotmail accounts involves proxies, and is much more of a hassle and more expensive. Also, there's not mailing software which handles the new auth smtp login of hotmail. And you won't be able to process any bounces/unsubs.

And, from a legal perspective, spamming by Hotmail violates CAN SPAM Act and is - in my opinion - a crime, while sending by your own SMTPs is CAN SPAM Act compliant (if you follow the rules).

I get you, so what are the spec for the VPS, how many Gb ram should do, must it be 5? Where the issue lies is getting VPS host that has port 25 open. Any recommendations?

Yeah, the Windows VPS at least 4GB I would say to run smoothly.

No recommendations for VPS, that's where the fun begins :)

Hi. Thank you for the help! I'm starting up a VPS today! Looking forward to getting it running quickly and starting the sends.

Segment the lists, warm them up with re-engagement emails, use platforms like MailWizz with Amazon SES, or leverage them for lookalike audiences on ad platforms to maximize value without spamming

Hi. Are you recommending Windows because of the software needed, or ease of use?

never use opt in services like klaviyo, mailchimp for bulk execution. Use blaster with smtp setup. And warmup before sending email. Dont dare to send link on the very first email. And make sure it resonate with the leads otherwise no tools in the world can prevent unsubscribing problem. Start your first email with most common problem with all industry are facing. may be this will not trigger their unsubscribing urge.
