what is the legal requirement under GDPR in the EU for capturing people's email? For example, i have a form that people fill in for a free marketing review, how do I notify them they are being opted in into an email list and will recieve marketing emails in the future

Why dont you simply add a small field below submit button ?
Example:
Discliamer : Dear Visitor, We wont spam you for sure ETC.,

And dont forget to include them in TOS pages too

First of all you need to add a small checkbox in your form where your customers can subscribe for the emails from your website. As per the GDPR policy your emails should have an unsubscribe button that let your readers to unsubscribe anytime.

i want to be able to send them free info on improving online visibility, but also at the same time stating we offer this as a service, something along these lines
