mailchimp and sendinblue are good for legit email blasting, if you want bulk cold emailing tools like gmass or instantly are used a lot
This largely depends on your sending needs, type of leads (cold or warm) and your budget. This will decide your setup; whether ESPs like Mailchimp, Activecampaign, and Sendinblue which are relatively easier to use but more expensive at scale or custom solutions like Sendblaster and Atomic mailer which are bulk email clients that offer more customization with your sending infrastructure

There’s no single “best” tool. It depends on your scale and use case. For most clients, tools like Mailchimp, Brevo (Sendinblue), or MailerLite are cost-effective and reliable for bulk campaigns with automation and good deliverability.
If you’re doing outreach-style blasting, focus more on deliverability + warm-up + segmentation rather than just software. otherwise your emails will land in spam regardless of the tool.

For cold emails, you can use tools like Instantly, SmartReach, PlusVibe, or Manyreach. These are made for reaching out to people who have not signed up yet.
For emails to people who already joined your list, you should use tools like Brevo, MailerLite, Mailchimp, or MailerSpark. These are better for regular updates, offers, and newsletters.
When it comes to cold emails, keep the volume low. Do not send too many emails at once. Also, avoid sending the same message to everyone by just changing the name. That approach does not work anymore.
Even if you use the best tools, your emails can still go to spam. AI has become very smart now, and it can detect spam messages within seconds. So you need to make your emails more natural and personal.

Totally by Mailchimp! It's user-friendly and literally everyone uses it, plus they have a pretty sweet free plan perfect for starting out

You can try Mailchimp, Sendinblue, or GetResponse, they work fine for blasting.
With 40k contacts and 4 sends a week, hitting the inbox without your own dedicated IP is nearly impossible. Shared servers won't handle that volume without spam complaints
You either go the expensive route (own IP + warmup + infrastructure) or find a service that already has pre-warmed IPs and handles deliverability for you. Those exist but they're not obvious to find
If you want, I can share a couple of names in PM. No pressure, just saves you digging through trial and error

this would depend on what u intend to send nd the size of the mailing list. if u have an opt in list i would recommend going for an esstablished email marketing tool with automation nd tracking features as opposed to using mass mail scripts.
