ElonGate question in trust wallet

Hello all, in my trust wallet when I purchase ElonGate, it shows the old logo and next to it the number of ElonGate I have (some millions).
A friend purchased ElonGate and it shows the new logo, $ElonGate as name and next to it, 0.010743 ELG.. Can you please explain why this difference? Many thanks

ELG is Escoin Token, not related to ELONGATE.

$ELG is not ELONGATE. ELONGATE is $ELONGATE.
