Elon Musk

I used to have a lot of respect for Elon Musk, as an entrepreneur who was pushing the boundaries of science and technology. However, his behaviour and actions in the last couple of months have vastly changed my opinion of him.

Over the last few months, he has made a number of tweets that have damaged his reputation.

His tweets over taking Tesla private appear to have broken securities law in the US and I think he is going to end up with a substantial fine from the SEC.

His involvement in the Thai cave rescue that has really shocked me. He did a good thing by offering what appeared to be quite a revolutionary solution to saving the school boys. However, there were a number of flaws in this solution and Vernon Unsworth, an expert cave diver who knew those specific caves very well, said to CNN that he believes this was a PR stunt. Elon did not react well.

After being criticised on CNN, Elon took to Twitter to try and discredit Vernon Unsworth by calling him a pedophile. This was a completely unsubstantiated allegation that had absolutely zero merit. He deleted the tweet and proceeded to apologise, however it looks clear that this was nothing more than an attempt to mitigate against the PR fallout.

Behind the public scenes, he has gone on the attack again against Vernon Unsworth:



Vernon Unsworth has, rightfully, sued Elon Musk for defamation. The claim (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs/17_09_2018_musk_unsworth.pdf) gives a good insight into Elon Musk's character and that his wealth and fame have clearly gone to his head.

I do hope that Vernon Unsworth is successful in his claim as I think these unwarranted attacks by Elon Musk have shown his true character.

Looks like a great guy so far. I don't have anything against him. Saw a few interviews with him and he really seems like a good guy.

As with Trump, he should stay off twitter, and reflect on the message before posting.

He's already been quoted as saying he's been warned to expect that Elon Musk will hire a team of private investigators to dig any dirt possible.

Elon Musk has publicly called him a child rapist, a pedophile and said he was married to a 12 year old girl. These kind of allegations ruin lives and there have been scenarios when vigilante groups have targeted completely innocent people because of unfounded rumours.

I was going to mention this but didn't want to stray into the political sphere. It's like pandora's box with their tweets - their lawyers and PR teams must be fretting what comes out next.

There is a certain pattern noticeable when you look closely, and what we see unfold before our eyes is ORM of the highest order.

Sometimes it’s cheaper to get sued for defamation, then have the SEC come to the conclusion that you knew exactly what you were doing when you send out a certain Tweet.

Unless Vernon Unsworth wanted to run the risk of committing perjury in two countries, the chance of this happening is non-existent.

He knows what he is doing. In a past he said that he want to buy all Tesla stocks. His drama helping him decreasing stocks value. Musk is a real businessman and i think he is doing it on purpose. Just watch and learn.

Old single guy lived 30 years in Pattaya, and what does that mean:
that means the chance he had underage sex is >90%.
but as someone who knows twitter said, some people should learn to control their impulses when they post.

How can you guys not see that it's all a show?
Musk has never been a retard, and I doubt he turns into one over night.
All he's doing is being a "unpredictable idiot" right now, shifting the focus away from other things.
There have been many great individuals before Musk & and the age of Twitter to do so. Amusingly enough, even Nikola Tesla.

do you live in Thailand or have you been to Pattaya or heard of it?
I visited nearly every Asian countries, and Thailand 4 times I think; coincidentally I never went to Pattaya and probably never will.
so the type of person as described in OP staying there 30 years, and given that in this country no one will ask for your ID to see your age ... etc etc
my own assumption is 90% chance, so does not mean he did it; it just means he decided to live at the exact place in the world where this can happen easily, cheaply, and at near no risk.

edit: I am not saying Elon is correct; I am saying if you live in Pattaya for 30 years and want to sue Elon, you'd better be clean.

Did you read what I said, I never went to Pattaya.
I do not live in Thailand, especially not Pattaya. I lived in Japan and China.
Did you forget to turn on your brain today? Not sure if this would make a difference though.

My contribution is that just because you went somewhere you shouldn't suggest someone else has had a greater than 90% chance of sex with children. Maybe he will add you to his court case.
