ELGG Site for Backlinking or Spamming - Share Your Experience

I just scraped about 1000 or so ELGG Social networking sites, which allow you to create your blogs on them and throw your links in your blog posts.

Looks like a decent way to links building. It is easy to update these blog though an automation script, or something like Sick Submitter.

I find that many of these sites are spammed by Drug Selling websites. I would like to get insight from the community over here, if they have any experience with getting links from ELGG powered websites.

I never used elgg but i already used unknown platforms..and in my experience if the domains has PR and the page can get indexed you will receive juice.

elgg can be automated with xrumer, well uhhh.... you gotta mod it though

When i used them a year ago they were spammed to death and very hard to get indexed.
