Ok, just this summer, I got a couple of low marks from some of my customers on Egay because shipping took longer than normal.

All of a sudden, my Egay store dropped out of the search results and daily unique visitors went from 200 per day to 5-10 per day. I had zero sales dueing the busiest time of the year...

Anyway, here is my idea. I am going to put up a special auction and post up to the forum when I do. The auction will be a multiple item auction with 10 of the same items. I don't know what it is yet, but it will be well within in the Egay guidelines. The auction is going to be selling the item for 1 cent and shipping is free!

So when 10 of my fellow forum members go to my Egay site and buy the 1 cent item (don't even bother sending the money!) they will be able to leave a A++++ review of our business transaction.

This burst of 10 positive comments at one time will get back into the search results where I need to be for this Spring's sales.

I figured if it worked for me, we could start a little underground club where we do this for members of the group only.

just sell stamps or coins. takes a sec to mail out and cost nothing. anything else and it will seem fishy

Sell what kind of Stamps? USPS stamps? at regular price? How do you make money off of that?

Just leave the account for a month, the dsr's are then reset and you'll be back in the thick of it.

That's the problem, your rating is an average spread over several months. One month will do nothing.

It may not look different on the feedback page, but it will reset it in search standing. Have a look in powerseller dashboard- this does work.

Just get some "sure shots" auctions up where the buyer will get the item rather quickly. They will throw out some +ve feedback for you.

Or you can simply get some of your friends to give you a positive feedback. Works both ways!
