Arnold is termed out, that's why this election is going to be so big. There is no clear favorite for the Democratic or Republican nomination so long as Feinstein stays out of the race. Whitman faces Steve Poisner and Tom Campbell for the GOP nomination, and then Gavin Newsom, John Chiang Jerry Brown, the LA mayor (not going to try to spell his name - Antonio something) and some others are going to fight it out for the Democratic nomination. It's going to be a good fight, and it expected to be the most expensive gubernatorial race ever.

Right now I'm for Newsom.
