I've started doing some social media management, and have acquired my first professional client. The client is a museum, and they're are looking for help with growing their account. But this came with some strict rules, they don't want the account doing follow/unfollow method, they don't want over engagement, absolutely no messaging, no commenting on other peoples post.

Any tips or suggestions?

You can choose the mother child method, mass dm's or mass comments in that case but I can see that they have put a lot of restrictions for growing their account..
Agreed, but on a good note they're providing me with daily content. I just have to figure this part out haha.

The best option remains with you is doing Mother child/slave method .
This is the method where your account would remain 100% safe and wont get any block ,
and at the same time your account would keep growing with niche based and targeted followers .

Go for the mother/child method or if you have some other accounts then do shoutouts with other people from those accounts

  1. Use the right Instagram hashtags.
  2. Steal your competitors' followers.
  3. Use geotags on Instagram posts.
  4. Organize Stories into Highlights.
  5. Post user-generated content.
  6. Collaborate with other brands.
  7. Post at the best times.
  8. Use Instagram analytics tools.

Thank you very much, I appreciate your response.

What IG analytic tools do you recommend?

You can use the mother/child method to promote your instagram. Probably the best option available now. Doing F/U with your own account can be risky if you don't know what you do.

Isn't the mother child method expensive? I need to find a guide haha.

I wonder how much are they even paying for this, as their rules only leave mostly the costly options for growth on the table.

You mean how much they're paying me? They're my highest paying client now, but they want to keep it old school with methods which is more manual work for me, but its doable with the automated/scheduling of posts.
