Effective Linkbuilding Strategy for and Authority Website

The traffic doesn't seem much.

I'd just see what terms you're ranking for and optimize your content around that term then build backlinks using GSA.

Then wait a few days and keep doing the linkbuilding.

Definitely don't just wait for traffic.

Make sure your article writers are not just manually spinning these articles or rehashing them from a single source. You should be getting a lot more traffic than that from 200 unique articles even without any backlinks. It's either that, or you did something wrong during your keyword research, but it shouldn't matter because you would be pulling in long tail traffic still.

post on different article directories so you can have more intern traffic
create a couple of web 2.0 a week with original content and linking to other authority sites at the same time
buy a couple of likes or tweets on fiverr to get social signals

I can assure you if you will start building social signals to those 20 articles of yours you will get huge changes in both traffic and rankings.

All articles are copyscape passed. Domain is clean it's not a KW it's my brand name and ranks for that.

I am currently not using any article directories. May start looking into getting a service that manually creates high quality web 2.0 with uniques not sure where to point the anchors though, to the homepage or individual articles?

I will definitely start looking into this as I have the accounts set up. I think I'll start getting fans and then start linking to a featured article a day or something. Not sure if that's what you meant by social signals though.

Ensure that your post writers aren't simply manually rewriting these posts or re-hashing them from just one source. You ought to be becoming a lot more visitors than that from 200 special posts even with no backlinks. It's possibly that, or you did some thing wrong throughout your keyword investigation, but nevertheless, it should not issue as you'd be pulling in long-tail traffic nonetheless.
