The above scam (and I say scam because the whois is not registered to Sprint) got hundreds if not a few thousand people to input name, address, email.

This "free ticket" offer was passed around freebie/deal forums like here:

I wouldn't recommend claiming you are Sprint, but conceptually this worked very very well.

Oh yes, trust me, do NOT try to claim that you are someone from an established company like Sprint, I learned that the hard way...

Rick versus reward if you are offshore you chances or slim to known of getting sued. But if you are here way your risk versues reward and if you expect to make 5 figures or money set upa dummy company so if you get sued you close shop and you personal assetts are not at risk..

Clever? If they were so smart at making money then they would stick to less riskier methods that are not going cost you everything if you get caught. Not have to resort to outright scamming people.

I guess everyone has a different distance before crossing their moral line
