Educate netizens

I got hit with a WNC-633901 and suddenly my income plunged. There was a weaker hit a few months ago, a WNC-635900, and the plunge was 44% because of the difference. You see, on this new hit, the site doesn't even come up when the clods enter the domain name directly into the Google search bar. Lots of clods do that. Now, it is necessary to enlighten our fellow netizens that they can enter the web address directly into their browser's location window. That helps them when they want to visit ANY website, and demotes Google from Dictator of the Internet to merely King. You all have websites. Add value to them. Tell your website visitors and show them with a screen capture how to enter domain names directly into their browsers. It benefits them.

If you make your site to be a true authority site, people will bookmark it, and/or remember how to get there directly. If you create a spammy sack of shit, well...you get what you give.

True, and if it's a spammy sack of shit, they won't type the domain name into Google to visit it when they're on a different computer.

I'm not asking anybody to do any of this for me, of course. Odds are slim it would make any dent in my traffic. However, it is an important internet skill to know how to type a domain name into a browser instead of into Google, and it is amazing how many persons are ignorant of it. This is their loss, too.
