.edu nofollow backlinks: value?

Hi all
Today, I found the way to get some backlinks from .edu and .gov but most of them is nofollow, so it's value or not on SEO?

Possibly on Yahoo/Bing as they use VERY dated ranking algorithms and are less strict with values of links, but Google I'm almost !00% positive NOFOLLOW is NOFOLLOW regardless of where the link is placed.

But some threads on BHW, I saw many people share the nofollow edu backlinks

You will find that yes it does help you. I have done it with my sites. No one can quantify that no follow does no good but my 7 month old domain was just upgraded to PR1 and the main keyword now sits at #1. Most of the links created were no follow. Saying they are worthless, is bullshit. It works on Google and faster than Bing there is no yahoo anymore, Bing powers their results. Most of the blogs are and have been no follow and they help. Most of the Wiki sites are no follow and that works.

I would not get 20 daily unless you are mixing other links in there too. Don't want to create a footprint. Mix up the number each day like 23 one day and 19 the next then 22 the one after that then 15.
