Edu ******** contextual backlinks - how do they get them?

Hello,

I've noticed many people are selling do follow contextual backlinks from .edu and even .gov domains.

I've done my homework and found here on blackhatworld some nice tutorials about getting links by posting in edu wikis (Learn how to get free articles on .EDU domains /w backlinks tutorial/method), but those links are nofollow from MediaWiki platform.

So, do they use other wiki platforms, or maybe some other methods to get do follow contextual links on .edu and/or .gov domains?

Well either get them naturally. If you offer a scholarship. Like $200 or something. You can get links from .edu
Some people can get links by hacking but that's hard and I don't suggest you do that. And it's illegal

The majority of the ones sold on here are profile links. Yes, they are d0follow, but they don't really do much.

There is a member here that sales a guide on how to get blogs on edu sites, i actually saw bst selling those links, so the guy bought the guide and he made the blogs and sold the links, just Googleit, i dont remember the ssaleer name

These links don't count much as they used to about 2-3 years ago. Google got smarter and devalued them...

Well they're still worth decent link juice and worth it all the way. Just the crappy ways of getting them such as forum links etc don't provide much value.

Contextual edu links hold less value? Give me a break and stop spreading garbage. There's a difference between $10 edu links on Fiverr and customizing an outreach campaign to get some seriously powerful links. There are lots of high quality opportunity out there.
