.edu backlinks..

damn, retardo...whats up with those links?...i just checked 5 of those links randomly and they were all 404 errors...and that guss.edu link was a bunch of porn links and forced my anti virus to go AWOL and crash my firefox. not cool, man!!!! i'vve never given a -rep...but i feel like doin it so badly, right now...

hi everyone, I'm slamonsimon.

does anyone have a list of edu sites that they got their links indexed in... so like a tested list taken from the one posted here?

I'd be happy to give the gift of money for that list, or to have someone get me some linx.

cheers!
and hey, i love this site! best marketing and seo site on the web i'm pretty damn sure!!!

Ya, some of these you need to watch for no-follow otherwise you'll waste a ton of time. I use nodofollow add-on with Firefox.

I search for inurl:.edu +awstats, then use PRStorm to hit them and get listed in their awstats results. Try inurl:.org +awstats too, or use another statistics program, like webalizer.

Oh, and I've gotten over 4000 backlinks in the last coupla weeks using PRStorm, so the thing works. Just use it wisely

This one is great! inurl:blog "post a comment" Thanks!!

Hello Maineyak...are using PRSTORM for any whitehat sites or just BH sites?

You know what would definately put my pages over the top... some sweet linkage from bhw.com ... Those are golden...

I think .edu backlinks get more credit than they are worth

Why not use this:
Code:
http://www.10seo.com/Injection/
combined with the forum list mentioned before? Could make something good out of it? :)

I'm a BH noob and these links look great, any suggestions on how to get them dumped? Could I just dump the new links in places (blog commenting, dump lists, links on free hosts, etc) and then have them spidered and indexed, or is there something i need to do otherwise?

##site## with www.mysite.com
##word## with Poker

Just use a word document.. like MICROSOFT WORD TO REPLACE

if the page you are linked to doesnt have any pr tho, what is the value? I might be missing something here, but it looks like you would be linking your site from a page like:
Code:
http://support.mfm.com/cgi-bin/webglimpse/webglimpse/var/www/websites/support/htdocs/support/manuals/feweb/webglimpse?query=%22%3E%3Ca+href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.onlinedemoexample.com%22%3Eonline+demo+example%3C%2Fa%3E&errors=0&maxfiles=1000&maxlines=500

Yeah this is true. . . but putting a PR on a site that already holds 20,000 backlinks strong with a .gov tag, well if your able to link that page 30 times, I bet you'll see some power out of that link. Also in general the push was to grab some .edu/.gov power. At the end of the day PR is overrated in my opinion . . . give me trustrank from established sites, and I'm smiling. . .

requested via pm: nodofollow firefox plugin. saves a ton of time if you can see that the link will be nofollow anyway

I still don't understand the SEOinjection page....once I find and replace in the word document... what do I do? (Sorry... its probably simple... but I have been know to be a tard...)

take a look here
this is one of the urls with the variables replaced

Code:
http://support.mfm.com/cgi-bin/webglimpse/webglimpse/var/www/websites/support/htdocs/support/manuals/feweb/webglimpse?query=%22%3E%3Ca+href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.onlinedemoexample.com%22%3Eonline+demo+example%3C%2Fa%3E&errors=0&maxfiles=1000&maxlines=500
