EDM containing date bad thing to do?

Hi all,

While making my first amazon niche site, i kinda stumbled upon a free domain which resembled a huge search volume from 2015. So im considering taking EDM for 2016.

The question is, how do you translate this to 2017? Simply buy 2017 already and migrate later?

Or is this just a bad idea in general?

EDM = Electronic Dance Music
EMD = Exact Match Domain

I would not use year in URL, but I know some people that still make money with their 2012 domains. I just think that it looks ugly personally.

"best edm 2016" may be a good niche term though.

And no, OP. Having a year in a keyword is not horrible. You just need a new campaign each year.
