Sometimes the unwanted things do happen. You may get negative feedback from a visitor who will leave comments on the Blog. Though there are options to approve and publish, in principle do you edit negative comments. I don't think it is right to do so because if we cannot accept various feedbacks then why open a channel for accepting comments?

I agree with this one. The readers also have the right to express their opinion regarding the article written by the blogger, but the comment must be respectful enough that it should NOT go to the extent of disrespecting the author.

We should define or elaborate first what kind of negative comment are we referring to here.

Bloggers need comments, how negative they are, since a comment from a reader gives us a good news that "hey, our blog was being read by many". But bloggers should also be respected. The comment must go against the post, and not against its author. :)

A negative comment might inspire another user to reply with their own comment thus increasing the content on the page. I say leave all comments unless they are full of swears lol.

I say make them editable, my own blog gets hit with so many spambot replies it makes me thankful that I have approval / disapproval turned on.

I agree..It's always these guys that make the vistors come back to see how's the fight going on:)

I get negative feedback from a visitors every day .
A negative comment never inspire another user to reply with their own positive comments

I like negative feedback. That way vistors get to see more than just my opinion on a certain subject. I think people prefer to see it like that. That's why news stations always have more than one person on, so that all sides get represented.
