Edit or Update Old post = Fresh content or not?

    If i update and edit one of my old posts, does that suddenly become fresh content or not?

    ie. would google index it again and think I have added fresh content?

    Or is fresh content only for new posts?

    Hm...interesting question. Assuming the page is already indexed, I wouldn't think so..I guess it could also depend how much you change the content?

    Okay, I have no idea LOL. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.

    yea I tried adding an extra paragraph wonder if that makes a difference lol

    Makes no difference google only counts new content from date it page was first indexed

    +1 for new content. With the latest Google algorithim change, unique fresh content is the way to go.
