Edit individual pages in Cpanel?

Yo,

If you don't have a plugin to help with writing meta data or wanted to no-index individual pages how would you do this in Cpanel?

Easiest way is to login and go to Files. Then located the pages and edit source code. That's got HTML pages.

If it's WordPress you'll have to edit the SQL data. Editing .php files won't do it.

@tiiberius Easiest way is to login and go to Files. Then located the pages and edit source code. That's got HTML pages. I tried this but It's on WordPress and looked through the .PHP with no joy, how do I find the SQL data?

You can change through functions.php.

You have use filters to change content.

But is is not advisable to change core functions.php. You have to use child theme to do that.

But it is strange that you have access to cpanel and not wordpress admin panel.

Since you mentioned plugin, I believe you have a WordPress site. If you have access to the only cPanel Go to myPHPadmin and change the password of your WordPress and add SEO plugin, exclude the pages you don't want to index.

Or just add robots.txt and disallow the pages to be indexed.
third would be adding No Index meta on individual pages if its not a WordPress site.
