Thanks for replying. I already read that thread and it's great for starting. However, the thing I'm struggling now with is links. I'm seeing in the SERPs that most of the stores are ranking with little to no backlinks. And the other thing I noticed is that the majority of them have most of the links pointing to their homepage. In your opinion, what is the best ratio to have between homepage/categories/product pages?I'm doing ecom + SEO. Ask me anything (in this thread and not via PM, please)

OK.
I don't really have a set ratio. Most backlinks should point to the homepage IMO.
Some to the category pages for juice to flow to your product pages. Looks too unnatural to only have homepage backlinks.
