Hello guys,
With Magento, if products are in multiple categories but the products are canonicalized to the dominant sub-category version of the product URL, do the internal links within the categories to the non-canonicalized URLs pass equity onto the canonicalized version, or is this effectively lost due to the URL being linked to not being the canonical?
Personally, I would imagine it would be better to set all products to be canonicalized to the domain.com/product level URL and then link directly to this product level URL in the categories and sub-categories.
Any insights would be great.
Thanks
