I'm looking to reserve a .eco website but not sure if they come with any limitations ??

No, because eco is prefix not a suffix.

I was thinking of selling bamboo related items which are eco-friendly and I can eventually apply for the B corp certificates

Guessing it would be something new and more relevant + the costs are way lower going for a .eco
new maybe but i doubt any buyer/end-user will know what .eco extension is supposed to stand for at the end of the day most people recognize the three most common extensions not some random extension that is really hard to get approved for

also what do you mean costs are lower? .eco will run you 40$ that is the cheapest price on the market while .com you can get for as low as 2.88$ at the end of the day do you but I'm just curious why would someone go through the hassle of using some unknown extensions that costs 20x what a .com would cost!

Thats my only concern too if people would know that .eco stands for a website

I would need to show it as www.website.eco

Hostinger and Namecheap are offering the .eco domain for free with hosting

hostinger doesn't have .eco on hand and namecheap charges $69.98
double check your information before you make a decision i might be wrong but i doubt it!
usually they offer cheap extensions with hosting but when an extension is high priced most of the money doesn't go to the company instead to the original registry so it would make no sense for them to give you a free 70$ domain on a 50$ hosting plan

.eco domains are designed specifically for projects related to environmental protection and sustainable development, so there are some requirements when registering. You need to prove that you have a connection with environmental protection, or at least support sustainable development projects. The requirements of different registrars may be slightly different, so it is best to confirm the specific conditions before registering.

What type of website you want to build on that domain name ? Is this domain extension reserved for certain specific type of website ?

This is the first time I've heard of .ECO names. I just can't think of anyone that would use a domain name for their business with such an extension if the business is not environment related.
