ECB Chief: Crypto is worthless

European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde said cryptocurrencies are “worth nothing” on a Dutch television program aired Sunday, calling for greater regulation over what she described as “highly speculative assets.”

Okay, if they are "worth nothing", why regulate them? Wouldn't the ECB be participating in FRAUD if it is 'regulating' something it KNOWS is worthless?

My opinion: the ECB is trash talking crypto because it CANNOT CONTROL IT.

well i think he is just fumming lol . i think he mean it's useless since in the end crypto will be regulated and gov have control over it. but he forgot no mattter how regullated crypto is there is always a way to avoid gov control, example monero, and service like tornado. and there is no such think like you bank account got frozen and hijacked by gov.

Invest wisely, do research, check fundamentals, especially when you're sh*tcoining. BTC has strong f'mentals, most alts do not.

I bet most people who traded/holding UST had no idea UST had nothing backing it but an algorithm (unlike USDT/USDC/etc)
