Will you get banned if you try to sell ebooks on ebay. I have seen torrents with over 1000 ebooks and they download in seconds. I can see this being an ok profit margin at 100%. If ebay is not the way then how about a website that sells ebooks at half price. Can this be a hit?

You can get free ebooks with resell rights everywhere on the net. The only reason people buy ebooks for on ebay is feedback manipulation. Everyone with half a brain knows that the content is pure b.s. most of the time. And that's why ebay banned the trade of "digitally distributable goods" a few years ago. Means your ebook has to be burned on cd and shipped per mail to make it legit. Technically, you still can sell ebooks normally, but as they often don't even bring in enough money to pay the $0.10 insertion fee, expect a two cent margin per ebook in the end and be prepared for losses. If someone reports you, there will be problems. It's not worth the trouble. It's easy to automate and all, but you will be kicked out before you get even near the necessary numbers to make it worthwhile.

He is 100% right .Don't sell for less than $4-5 dollars to be safe ,and burn CD's too, otherwise you will be banned .

Do as Endorphine has stated. Also, keep listing them, people will see your listings for these cheap items, then when they check out the rest of your items, or store they'll see the expensive items, and possibly bid/buy those.
