Me and my brother are thinking of starting up and making some money. We where thinking about doing ad-sense first, but from other peoples stories, it seems that it requires a rather large sum of start up capital. We have about $60 to start, and we where wondering if you guys would recommend starting up with an ebook or adsense. Many thanks!

I'd recommend an eBook, Adsense depends entirely on Google, in an instant all your hard work can be wiped away. If you actually have something of value to sell you can make a decent sized profit with your own eBook.

Yeah, if you have decent english knowledge and any sort of knowledge about something else (sports, music, cars, cooking, whatever), you can write a half decent ebook and sell it. Hell, even just using sharecash and promoting the download link on youtube.
Adsense and seo business are far less simple then they seem when you read about them.

Ok, a couple more questions. Would you suggest just writing what I know or writing something that I can learn easily but may be more profitable? Also, how much cash should I be expecting to use before I start making a decent profit? Finally, how do you choose a niche? Am I going about it correctly by just searching keywords off the top of my head and seeing the number of searches ect.?

Wow... can't believe the responses saying you should start with the ebook.
I don't write and sell ebooks but from what I have read $60 is not a drop in the bucket when it comes to split testing sales copy, determining the market, or even some of the fees to get you started selling your own ebook.
Not sure where you got the idea to choose between making some adsense sites or selling an ebook, but those two things are worlds apart. In fact, you can set up tons of free blogger blogs with your adsense code and it won't cost you a dime.
You and your brother should do a lot more research before making any decisions on where to invest your 60 bucks. Online income is not a simple decision as to where to put your money. It's much more.

I definitely agree. And plus Adsense can close your account right before a payment is due. I was about to receive around $50 but they closed my account for clicking my own ads. But I did it to test if they were working, but apparently google does not care. With an ebook, you won't have to worry about and third-partys interfering with your money.

I would go with ebooks you can get them pretty much after you buy them. Best wishes.
