Okay so I had this idea I'm working on, I have built an ebook with few pages where I put my affiliate link and I'm giving it for free via Mailchimp.
My original plan was to spam the shit out of Facebook groups (niche related) with fake profiles because it's a kinda problem-solving ebook in my niche.
And for some reason, it's not working as I expected.

Do you have some ideas on how to market this free ebook and give me some clearance.
I was thinking about Reddit maybe or paid FB ads?

Do not give free. Charge $1 for the eBook.
Any reason why not?
It's a really short eBook, around 10 pages.
Also, I don't have payment processors like stripe,2checkout, etc. It would require me to open a firm, is there something that wouldn't take so much time and effort?

You can use paypal and your personal account, but depending on how many orders you have, at some point you might be prompted to give some details about where the money comes from. As for the money, you don't give out for free, because on the internet, usually anything that is free is crap. You spend $1, you feel like you got something professional:)

Thank's a lot, do you think I should go for paid ads?

Price it high at $20 something on any popular platform like Amazon. Now, confirm that the product page is indexed and shows up within first few results when people search for it. When everything is set, you can leak it yourself on piracy sites, torrent sites, course leaking sites/forums etc. A lot of people will read it if you have an interesting title.

Giving a "free" book gives off a feeling that it isn't worth much or it's already saturated.
Granted you will have desperate people who will try regardless.
To counter that, charge x amount already gives off that impression your ebook is worth it trying

No, you can use Gumroad

I understand that, but setting up a price for a 10 page Ebook that took me not even an hour to make is idk, not worth it imo. Maybe I'm wrong but I just wanted to use that "Free Ebook" to promote my affiliate link. Like this: "if you want to learn more about this topic check out my other book (Affiliate link)".

10 pages doesn't mean it's poor quality though
Ofcourse, I haven't seen the eBook but I am assuming it's at least decent.

Well, I hope it's good. I don't know if posting it here would be a good idea, and also I wouldn't want to break the community guidelines.

If you are worried about the community guidelines, aslong as you follow the rules you will be fine.
Also, there will be strictly no affiliate links if it's a "free giveaway".

I would recommend using Twitter. There are tons of people out there who are interested in e-books. Try to promote your Twitter account slightly with interesting tweets and set the price of the book at least $3, then play around with the price again and you will see if your subscribers are buying the book or not.

If I were you, I would hit Facebook groups hard. Seriously.

Look for Facebook groups where people who suffer from the problem your ebook solves hang out.

So, for example, your ebook is all about do-it-yourself topics around the house—look for Facebook groups where people share DIY information.

The same goes with Reddit.

Look for those areas and just share third-party content to make you look credible.

Once people see that you are some sort of expert, start sharing excerpts from your book, and then drop a link.

Or, better yet, share helpful advice and then make your profile completely public.

So when people go to your personal page, they can see all the links to your books.

There are many ways to play this game, and it really all boils down to trust.

You have to put in the time and effort to become so credible and authoritative that people trust you.

Otherwise, you're just going to be shitting out links all over the place, and you know how that goes.
