That makes sense since you are upfront about it. Plus your niche is a different beast altogether. They don't want to actually read anything...all they are after is how to farm items, gold, or whatever "hack" they want.

I just started my draft in the morning around 6am, my brain was just teeming with ideas so is definitely my time to write lol.

I'm trying to stay motivated to get all my drafts done as soon as possible, I'm the kind of person usually to loose interest quick but not this time.
 
Quick question, how does the Amazon ebook sales work?

I know you get a percentage and they take as well. But with payments wise? They do use PayPal (asking as that's the only means I have to collect any revenue)
 
Is there a way to sell the ebook on your own website like users can buy it and then it would be sent to their email or they can download it.

Preferably PayPal? I see some system that offer this but they charge like monthly fees, surely there's a free way

Easy Digital Downloads if you're using Wordpress.
 
Selling on Amazon will be your best bet unless you plan to heavily promote your website. It's a high trust site that does all the work to get the buyer there. You may want to dabble in some paid reviews to get you going, and just let it snowball from there. Just my two cents on it :)

I fully agree, I do want to get some reviews to it. But I'm concerned with Amazon catching up to fake reviews, also I can't seem to find anyone that provides this

Create a simple flow for the return from paypal and redirect the user to a password page where they can enter some code they received and then download the PDF.... Just an idea.

You can post in the freelancer section here for reviews, hire a few folks, and just create your own reviews for them to post. You can always ask a few friends to do this as well. Just pay them the cost of the book + maybe $5 extra or so for their time. If you can get people you know in real life to do this that would be the way to go.

Just make sure the reviews are posted in a realistic timeframe. There's not many people out there who buy a book and immediately drop a review for it. Make the purchase, wait 5 to 15 days, and then toss a review out there.

It's free and has Paypal Standard support built in. However, I paid for a premium addon plugin called Paypal Payments Advanced to keep customers on site during the checkout process. They never have to leave my site to process Paypal payments at checkout with all of those redirects. I've almost doubled my sales since I've implemented it.

Cool, thanks for that, yeah I'll see if anyone can provide this service. Don't have much family or friends who know or use Amazon Kindle etc
 
How do I highly publicize a niche/and or mainstream ebook anonymously, I don't mind answering questions, but I want it to be under a pen name, and not connect it to my other projects or published niche works. I certainly don't want to be interviewed for it.!

I'm going to need to use services, programs, affiliate marketing, maybe amazon, kindle, and other strategies unless there is another way...maybe I will self-publish a hardback addition in future.

How does one market anonymously? I suspect there will be a lot of interest in this ebook. Yet this is a good question period.
