IMO we should weigh the consequences of the financial losses IF this deadly disease reaches mainland America and Europe in large scale.

I agree that our healthcare should be in the first instance, but as cold-eyed realists we should admit that no one cares about rank and file citizens. So unfortunately financial interests come first

if there's an outbreak then it will do for the world what bubonic did for europe - remove the weakest.

It wouldn't matter. You people watch too many movies and read too little science. It would make no sense to use a virus, that requires a living host and is hard as fuck to disperse and kill off people.

What would make much a lot more sense are the nerve gases. Like VX gas, Sarin, Cyclosarin, Bis(2-chloroethyl)sulfide [mustard gas], Hydrogen Cyanide or any other nerve agent. THESE are the bio-agents people need to worry about it. They are designed to be dispersed and linger in the air. Others are volatile and quickly turn to gas. Many of them are tasteless, colorless and odorless but will hijack your nervous system and turn your organs to mush in seconds. If you're "lucky" and don't die, you will be paralyzed for life in the worst way possible. As in, can't talk, can't walk, have seizures, shakes, tremors and more than likely will die from complications of the side effects later in life.

I'm not sure if you remember those 4 chinese guys who dropped sarin gas in train station. They made it themselves and it was actually a very crude, impure form of sarin. But it lingered in the trains for hours and people kept boarding the contaminated areas, getting sick and/or dying. It took them hours to realize what was happening.

THAT is the type of shit I'm afraid of. All it would take is half a dozen terrorists, a few vials of sarin, and a crowed place like the NYC subway system, malls, or other populated areas. All you do is wrap the vials in newspaper, keep the antidote on you, crack them with a stick or umbrella then calmly walk away. :mad2:

The terrorists themself can act as host. Most of them don't care about their own lives and think of it as an honor to die for their respective causes.

All they need to do is to spread body fluids from an infected person in a public place and the virus will do the rest.

This is one of the reasons a really long time ago I recommended somewhere here that old accounts that have not been in use should be banned, blocked, or removed.

4) You don't understand what money is. It's a commodity that allows you to purchase time and assets. No people = no time. No creation. No production. No growth. Game over. Unless you think the "elite" have armies of robots?

The reality is this. Those who you call elites are normal people. A handful of them get super rich and just love making money, so they keep building and growing. Ie, Donald Trump. Then there are others who made vast amounts of wealth and realized some even deeper truths about reality and prefer to live a life away from the public eye.

There are a few bad apples out there, but not that many. Look at the world. Look at your reality.

You can log onto a forum and learn how to get RICH. If this world was as bad as you say, and under the control of evil elites who want you dead, then you wouldn't be able to make billions yourself. You can make billions. You can BE one of those elite. It's not an exclusive club. This is a world of education, opportunity and freedom and it gets better and better each decade.

It's a bad nightmare and I am sure I am going to get out of the uneasy sleep soon, and see a great Sunrise, and hear tiny birds sweet chirping, watch the beautiful streams flowing down the hills, and smell the earth oozing out sweet perfume, and smile at the little flowers and grass blades gently swinging with the softly whistling winds, and witness the the best of clean and cool atmosphere everywhere...

Ebola is a realistic threat that needs to be dealt with immediately. However, there is a continuous threat from the overpaid, irresponsible idiots & bimbos that pass themselves off as news people. All they do, with their "look at me I'm pretty" attitude, is blow a subject all out of proportion, which creates hysteria to increase ratings & increase ad revenue. Currently it is Ebola & ISIS. Next week who knows threat they will glorify.
