Ebay Watchers How Much Should I Charge

Trying to start a service where my ebay accounts watch your items which can get you on the most watched lists, which can also get your auctions listed on hundreds of other websites that watch ebay auctions for most watched items on ebay.

Hope this all makes since ok I have 500 ebay accounts and was thinking about offering the service for a fee of course and yes I know that before the service can start here on BHW that a fee must be sent to the site .

What I am trying to find out is how much to charge people and would anyone really pay for this service?
NO I WONT TAKE ORDERS BEFORE I PAY THE FEE SO DONT ASK PLEASE !
When I pay the fee there will be 1 review of my service which will allow one lucky BHW the opportunity to get there auction watched by 25 of my users as long as you agree

Do you know approximately how many watchers it takes on an auction for it to make the list?
 
Possibly interested. You say you have 500 accounts, what I wonder is, are all of those accounts accessed through different ip's? What concerns me is that if a bunch of different user accounts from the same ip all "watch" my item, won't ebay notice that?

As for how much to charge, and would anyone really pay, it depends. It depends on the above factor (different ip's) for sure. Right now, I'm still in the process of setting everything up, so I don't have any hard numbers. It also depends on how many of those accounts would end up "watching" my item. It also depends like wiredmom asked, how many people are needed to watch an item to get it onto the most watched list.

Perhaps you can offer it as a subscription type thing, that way it works for people putting up multiple auctions, and not a flat out pay per auction type thing. Make it weekly? That way if someone only had one auction they wanted watched, they could pay for just one week's subscription, and it doesn't cost them that much and still could be worth it. Also, for the people that put up one or two auctions per day, it could be an affordable thing for them to do for their auctions, and not break the bank doing it seperately for every one. (this of course assumes that you rotate through which accounts watch what items for each person)

Just random thoughts flowing out of my head... ;)

That would depend on the niche or item your selling and catergory sometimes it only takes 25 people sometimes it would take 500.

I would have no problem using different ip`s to login and click on the auctions watch this item, now the hard part of how much to charge hmm and the supscription rate service sounds intresting will have to investigate that more.

Maybe I should just sell all the user accounts and let someone else run there own service might be easier on me huh lol.
 
Im sure you can automate this with a bot... First of all all that you have to do is type the watch me link under each account you dont have to go and click it

and as ull see. number 2 on ebay pulse.com has 931 watchers. so you dont need many lol.

I currently offer this service already on eBay. I guarantee eBay Pulse placement and I charge $29-$39. My service usually results in upwards of 1000-1500 watchers for the seller's listing.
 
This comes full circle for me. I found Black Hat World waaaaay back in January looking for the real way the pulsers were getting 100k watchers to their auctions. eB*ay at that time hadn't baned ebooks, and people were pulling in over $10K a month.

I saw a thread a while ago where someone had the program and indian ebay accounts.

So I will ask, does anyone have this program? I know the pulse is beyond dead BUT, For those of us cookie stuffing auctions, this would be an excellent way to generate traffic to auctions, and this lower your EPCs.
 
i had the program as i know the person who created it. i was one of them pulsing back in the day with ebooks.

but the prog no longer works
 
Yeah I was also using the pulse program back in the day and it worked wonders for my sales.

If only it worked now, we could have used it for cookie stuffing and generating a lot of traffic.

Maybe someone has another program that works now?
 
Dan and Rambo, You guys rock.. I saw a video on a blog not too long ago where the guy posted the software since it didn't work anymore.. and then he took it off the next day because someone reverse engineered it to work again.

Anyone care to share it since it CAN work again (with some tinkering).
 
Wait.. Now that I think about it.. I think we can generate hits to an auction page via their api program.. if we can do that, we have our EPC problems in our back pockets.

Now who is an eB*ay API wiz?
 
Can any one post more info on this older method it might be interesting in ripping apart the method to find out why it does not work and how to fix it.
 
Just googled and found the topic that people are talking about the application looks like a old mfc app should be pretty easy to decompile and get running but would be nice to add captcha cracking :-)

How would you do this with the API ? i would have thought "add to watch item" would not have been a function as its client side and the API would be used for server side calls.

pm me any offers etc, or even would love to know how it is possible, i have a mobile dongle for internet so can chage ip every time, do they track the pc/laptop details????

If I was looking at this from a consumer point of view- it would very much depend on what I was selling. Selling my car and having it in the most watched section would definitly be worth the $29-$39 that wolfmmiii is charging.
However I think you need a pay scale to work with.
If Im doing a one off auction for my exercise bike Im not going to pay $29. Id probably only be willing to pay 5-10% of its value.
Also as suggested a subscription service would be worth it, if I was selling ebooks and had 20 different ebooks selling at a time- I'd be interested in doing a weekly/monthly subscription to get all the titles in the most watch.
Just my newbie opinion

yeah i seen the date alright lol ITS AND OLDY BUT A GOODY TOOOO, thou i have been on ebay for years, and have seen a guy doing the same system recently, getting alot fo his auctions to most watched, then hes making thousands from it, one of his listing went into over 6k profit. most of it profit as hes selling ebooks on a cdr!!!!!


so im keen to duplicate his sucess!!!!!! if anyone wants to help me with any information they know on the most watched auctions i will tell all about the product etc!!!!

i have outsourcers ready to try making accounts. will have to get a step by step list ready!!!

think your right though this thread is long dead!!!!
 
I have need of 100 watchers on my auction ebay for 2 or 3 time every month and pay 10$ for every time,usually my auctions are for 7 days and I have need of 30 watchers every day for first 5 days.
Can you help me?I have account for pay with paypal.
