Ebay...Vero...Lawsuit...Some insight please

Lets say someone (of course not me) was selling replicas on ebay and receiving funds through paypal while using all of their real contact information. Things were going great for them and all customers were satisfied, feedback on all accounts were high with 100%, powerseller, and top rated status. Then one day this person receives some certified mail from one of the companies for which they were selling replicas, stating that they would initiate a lawsuit if a settlement was not agreed upon. This person does not comply with the lawyers request for all accounting and sales documentation, figuring they only profited a couple thousand off the products and the company would be crazy to pursue them. The question is, how can this person get back into the game and remain anonymous and unassociated with their real info. Also, if the address is changed, can the person still handle exchanges/refunds without providing their actual address? Or would a p.o box come into play?

well have not seen any one else answer but you could buy some stealth accounts and do the same perhaps get some merchant accounts, the method was shared in the forum about 6 months ago, not sure if PO box will work but you can always rent a virtual office and use that.

Ok, there are a few different things going on here so let's take it piece by piece.

This is a HUGE assumption, and one I would not necessarily make. I say this from experience, not to scare you. Many companies will just walk away as it is not worth their time for the small guy, other companies will pursue just to make the point and let it be known that nobody should mess with them. So, my first point to you is sometimes even though it "would be crazy" and makes no financial sense, the company will still pursue.

Well, to be clear, this person's info is already out there. So the account information has likely been recorded by both the auction site and by the vero company. So, if this person wanted to remain anonymous, then they would need a new account. (search threads on "stealth" - also, there is a member here who is Aspkin, the author of auction stealth, I believe he offers some discount to members here on his guide)

Bottom line on this, use caution not to get new account linked to original.

Not sure what this question is asking exactly. If I understand correctly, then yes, plenty of ways to handle things w/o using this persons address.

Same thing happened to lets say a friend of mine in the UK, i think he was wise he qit while he was ahead - thats the lesson move on find something else before you get a knock at the door.

why people still use their real info to sell on ebay replicas
never do that as you will get caught by the company that the replicas you sell for
just setup a stealth account and you are good to go
