. I'd really appreciate it if someone can answer my questions.
My roommate's ebay account was restricted a week ago. Ebay requested photo ID, suppliers' invoices.. So I changed my IP address, cleared cookies, and changed my apartment number on my ebay account. Also, my roommate stopped logging into that restricted account right after the restriction.
Then a couple days later, Ebay also sent me an email saying that my account is linked to his account and lowered my selling limits to 25 items per month. This is what it says in the email: "After 90 days, we'll reassess your account and may increase your limits based on your selling performance. You can also increase your limits sooner by resolving any open issues with the associated account. "
So my roommate decided to send them the requested docs, but when ebay got all the docs, they suspended his account immediately. So I was thinking my account would get suspended soon.
However, today when I logged into my ebay account, the limit is back to 100 items. I didn't call them or email them at all. Ebay didn't send any email to me regarding lifting my selling limits. And its not 90 days yet.
My question is should I continue to sell on my account? I'm still having several active listings. Is it safe to list more now?
Since my account is linked to that suspended account, isn't is supposed to be suspended too? Why did ebay lift my selling limits instead of suspending my account?
