eBay sellers can now accept Bitcoins it seems

The good news:

Merchants that work with eBay's PayPal can now easily start accepting payments from customers that use Bitcoin, an independent, government-less currency.
PayPal struck a deal with three Bitcoin payment-processing companies: BitPay, Coinbase and GoCoin.

Just made a quick survey of the exchanges - large buy orders, small sell orders. Why the price keeps dropping?

I saw the announcement over the weekend and if the price is dropping I am very surprised.

I thought the price would definitely rise on that news
 
Too many big whales holding a lot of bitcoin, and people not selling making the price drop.
 
This is very interesting, I did not know about this. Definitely am going to be reading a bit more into it.
 
Read about this a while ago, what would be truly interesting is to see an Ebay bitcoin adoption graph.
 
So they already started accepting it and the price did not go up? Doesn't make any sense. Guess so many people predicted it would go up so they held on to that bitcoin which killed the speculation.
 
I just checked Cryptsy. It looks like Bitcoin is slowly rebounding!

Bitcoin has gone up by $20 in the last week while LTC has taken a nosedive. Many people sold all their BTC and switched to LTC when bitcoin got really unstable, so I take it as an indication that many holders are starting to feel the worst is over and want to get back into the BTC game again.

I wonder how long it will be until Paypal openly tells us it's taking bitcoin? After all, Paypal owns Ebay and has been tinkering with bringing Bitcoin transactions into it's service portfolio.
