Ebay seller/buyer account

Would any ebay guru explain what is the difference between seller and buyer accounts?Can we for example use an buyer account to sell or to dropship with ??if not how can a buyer account become a seller one,Thank you for any helpfull answer.

A buyer and seller account are the same account.

The only difference is when you want to start selling on the site, you need to register and verify things like a credit card and usually have a paypal account.

I started selling on the site so long ago that I can not tell you all the little details since they have changed and tightened the site controls a lot in the last few years (including putting limits on how much a new seller can sell in $'s for the first 3 months etc.), but the account is the same, the difference is as a seller they want a credit card on file and I am pretty sure you need to link a paypal account as well. The objective is for them to know that they will get paid their fees and the more information they know about you the better they can feel about people buying safely from you.
