Hey, I just joined this forum. Heres my question:
I previously had my ebay account banned some years ago (4-5years ago), and selling under my moms account now for about a month or so. My monthly limit is $5,000 or 100 items. I have sold about 15-20 items so far, and I have 100% positive feedback. So heres the problem, I need to get higher selling limits than this per month. I have about $13k in inventory. I am a bit concerned to request the higher selling limits though, because then ebay will take a closer look into the account and may link the account right? If I just wait it out, will these limits automatically increase to 10K+? It seems like the safe alternative is to NOT request higher limits, but to just wait it out. Can someone give me some input on this? Thanks alot.

From my experience, the support on the live chat dont get involved with any of that stuff. I sold digital items on there last year and I was always on the live chat with them having a look into my account and nothing happened. I think youre safe mate.

Yes, best not to call unless you have to. You can get limit increases naturally but you have to show that you need the higher limits. This means selling 100 items and selling as close to that $5000 mark each month as possible. Your items also has a lot to do with it. If you're selling items ebay considers risky then they will be hesitant to increase your limits.
