Ebay powerselling vs. pure niche

Hi guys,

i have to make a decision whether i am selling a range of various products on ebay (around 150 different products) or just selling one kind of product for example bracelets but on many websites like amazon, ebay and own online shop. I think the advantage of selling one product with different versions is that you can advertise in niche related forums, drive traffic with google adwords...

Which method would you recommend?

One huge problem with trying to sell high volume of low number of items is that if you start doing well someone will notice what you're doing and either sell them or knock them off.

How many people should search for an item in google per month. Is 300-400 people/item rentable??

Generally I just list it on eBay and go from there. I had items where conversion rate was close to 50% but only got 2 views a week and I had other items where I had 1700 views and didn't sell anything.
