I want to open an Ebay and Paypal account on someone else's name, that person lives in a village 4 miles away from my town, but on the address it still shows as it is a part of my town.

I want to pay a different internet company than the one I have at the moment to install a new internet connection as on my current one I already have 3 Ebay accounts working from the same IP and would not want to raise any suspicions to Ebay and get my account restricted or anything similar.

My question is: do you think that Ebay would be able to see that the address that the account is registered to would not coincide to the IP address, or do you think that the distance is not that big so Ebay can tell that?

And would you have any different advice that you think would work better for my situation?

Thank you for reading this and please do share your knowledge or opinion.

I don't think it would be any kind of big deal. My IP gives a town 60 miles away as my location when I look it up. My brothers IP shows him being in a state 700 miles away because he has satellite internet. We both sell on Ebay.

As long as it is in the same country I doubt it matters. With mobile data being the norm now and lots of people not even having home internet service the ip will change each time you connect and show a completely different location.

Just be sure to always clear cookies and such or even better create a new user on your PC just for the new account. I don't do stealth so take what I say with caution. But from what I have read 3 accounts on the same ip can be risky cause if one goes they all will.

No problem atall. My own IP shows that I am 20kms away. Infact, I have used a connection in past which used to show I am from another city. Never had a problem with any website.

I forgot to mention that I live in the UK, do you think that it would make a difference?

You should be totally fine as long as you use different IP especially since these are real IP. I run multiple eBay accounts using proxies and proxy locations are not even close to match addresses on eBay accounts.

Make sure you use different browser too in addition to ip.

You guys all have been very helpful, Thank you!

Ouu, ouu, one ore question guys!
When you take pictures of the products on different ebay accounts, do you use different cameras?

You could just remove the EXIF data from the photos so they couldn't be linked.
