Ebay Pending Balance

So I've literally just sold something using a like 5 year old Ebay account (only 15 or so feedback, but 100%) and I intended to drop ship it, problem obviously now arises that the money is pending and the item itself is pretty pricey, so I don't have the cash to buy it and then wait for the funds to clear.

So does that basically mean I just have to refund it and I've been fucked over?

I often get this problem when dropshipping. Lend the money from a friend or a family member and use that to pay first. If you can't get the money, the best thing would be to explain to the buyer saying that it was damaged or something. Once you get the capital you can start dropshipping again.

I refunded him in the end but then decided that I'd give him the place that I was going to get the order from (aff link of course) so made some money that way at least.

Looks like I need to work to get my feedback over 100 then!

suggest to wait the money clear.no hurry in the beginning until u have good feedbacks

Until you establish a selling record ebay will be holding your payments up to 21 days or in case you provide a tracking number till the buyers receives it and then they release the funds.
