Ebay/Paypal Withdrawing money Question

Hi,

If a friend was selling some stuff on Ebay that was not exactly what he stated it was, for example listing as genuine when it's a replica and he recieves the money after buyer makes payment into his Paypal and he transfers all the money to my Paypal and I withdraw to my bank, if there is any complaints from his buyers can anything happen to me? I am only recieving money via Paypal transfer and withdrawing. So if someone disputes anything I understand he will have some bother but there will be no money in his account and it will be safe in my bank by then. Would I have much to worry about?

Also I understand you can buy Ebay accounts with Paypal hooked up which have none of your details linked to them, if my friend purchases 1 of these and sells his items how can he withdraw the money from one of these accounts? Again he could always transfer the money to me but least he will not get caught if any complaints but will I be ok?

Isn't there a hold when you sell on Ebay? Sellers have to ship it out first?
I haven't sold on there in a while, so that could have changed.

But would never recommend doing it to much. And i belive that the account will go into a negitive balance. And then after so long they pull it from your bank. Maybe. But we do it so we are not out the money in case somone didnt understand are service 100%

Cheers, well that's one thing that will help, you always get the odd seller complaining now and again and do a dispute so transferring it to another Paypal would make sure you don't lose out on the money. I was just wondering if anything would happen to me but I think you cleared it up and sounds like me recieveing the money from my friend would be ok for me even if there was a dispute raised.

There is for accounts with feedback under 5 or 10, can't quite remember exactly. Funds will be released by Paypal after 21 days or if seller leaves positive feedback, whichever comes first. Don't have this problem after you get the required feedback amount and you then get the money straight away.

I don't think paypal will block your account,your friend's account maybe,but not you.When your friend transfer his money to your account just stated as gift or personal owe.

there was a post a little while ago by a girl explaining paypal took money from her account because the guy who sent it to her had massive chargebacks and they thought he was trying to launder it to her.

Yes well I suppose it could be looked at as some sort of laundering. I am not sure exactly. I am sure Paypal will find some way to fuck everyone that look like they are involved in something a bit suspicious.
