eBay & Paypal registered information may be different? Help..

I bought an eBay seller account with 1300+ seller feedback with no neg feedback. the account has been opened 10 years ago. I changed the address (same state), phone and the email. I did not change the name. It's been 2 days and everything seems normal. A Paypal acct was linked to this account before, but no longer, there is currently no paypal linked on the acct.

Now, I am gonna open up a paypal acct. but i dont know if I should change the registered name on ebay and open a paypal account on the name I changed to.

Or, not change the name on ebay, and open a paypal acct with different name, and link it to ebay. At this point, ebay and paypal names will be different.

Or, I should open a paypal acct with the existing name on ebay, however if I do so, getting verified with existing name will be an issue. And also paypal will ask for tax information after a while, how am I gonna provide tax info under existing name.

Please help, show me a way to go through..

Don't change the name and open a PP with the existing name.
BTW how much you paid for such an account?

I paid $2000.
How about a new pp acct with different name? It will be a huge issue?

You paid 2K for an eBay account and it did not come with a matching PayPal Account? The PayPal account is one of the most
important parts. Creating one with the same name and information as the eBay account could cause problems because you are
essentially making a duplicate account from the last account attached to it and this could cause suspension.

eBay and PayPal accounts must match so having different information is not going to work. As far as verifying a new PayPal
account you can use a VCC and VBA to get the job done. I really think for the money you paid it should have a PayPal account.
