Anyone knows why a seller eBay account gets payout on hold? The message says the account may have been accessed by a third party, and eBay requires contacting Account Security. This is a US account. After finishing verification, how long does it usually take for them to unlock the payout again?

eBay may place a payment hold if it suspects unauthorized access or unusual activity. After completing verification by contacting eBay Account Security, payments are usually released within a few days, although sometimes it can take up to 7 days depending on the complexity of the verification and account history.

This usually happens when eBay flags unusual login activity new IP/device/location After you contact Account Security and verify everything, payouts typically unlock within 24–48 hours but sometimes it takes 3–5 business days if they escalate it

You need to follow their instructions exactly. Contact eBay Account Security directly, don't delay. Have all your documentation ready for verification. The time it takes can vary a lot, sometimes a few days, sometimes longer. Just provide what they ask for quickly and wait. There's no fixed schedule.
