eBay Partner Network signup problem...

I am trying to sign up as an eBay Partner Network and I am having nothing but problems. I have read everything I can find about EPN but can?t find anything that meets the problem I am having.


Basically I signed up five days ago and have gotten one email from them telling me to verify my domain. They do this by me uploading a code in a txt file that they can see and then I am supposed to click a confirm domain button. Well I have done this but after clicking the verify button the page comes back saying invalid.



I have double and tripled checked the code, txt file, and the upload to the site. I can even see the txt file and code if I type in my w w w.mydomain.com/ebaypartnernetworkactivation.txt ; Which is what they say in the direction I should see.



Below the confirm domain button there is a spot for a note which I have since put a note in saying



?I am unsure why I cannot validate this domain. I have uploaded the code via FTP multiple times. I can see the code come up if I type in the url and the name of the file myself.?


Still nothing has happened, should I just wait or is something wrong with the domain that I will never hear from them. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have heard that they will check to see if your personal or business name is publically visible on the WhoIs register.

Although this is a blackhat method, you could think creatively and make it whitehat!
