hi i sell a bag the buyyer said its fake i wd funds till than to my usa bank account.

the buyyer open case and as always he win,

now my account is in 5000 negative balance.

what should i do?

i cant pay this from my pocket,
i cant refund.
i already pay to bag supplier.

my questions are if paypal can come to my home?
and can sue me?

and how they will take that 5k back?

thanks

no they won't sue you but they will keep sending you mails telling that you have negative balance. They might take legal actions againts you if you owe them $XX,XXX+

worst thing that could happen is they might close your paypal account + permanent banned from ther services etc.

The best thing to do is pay what you owe. And in future don't sell crap. If you want to be successful you need to be honest. Especially if you want to build up a good reputation on ebay

When selling fake VERO items go wrong...

If you have a legitimate bag worth $5000, then it shouldn't be too much to get it authenticated and have proof of that to provide to ebay/paypal. If it's fake, well this is going to happen every time.

what i m asking is no one answered sofar

Didn't you read these lines :

They are not going to come for you if you are outside of the US. If you are from the US, if your SSN isn't on file they will probably get debt collectors involved after a couple of months and it might affect your credit. Unlink your bank account. No SSN = the most that will happen is the constant emails and calls.

No, they will remind you of your negative balance, and it will be attached as debt to the SSN you used on your Paypal account. They are not going to sue you.

if they have your real info, they can send you off to collections which can hurt your credit rating

For eBay to take you to court it all depends on the negative balance that would be in your PayPal account.

If the balance is high enough in the negative eBay will take actions to find you especially if you don't look like an innocent bystander and you intentionally screwed someone with a counterfeit item. No matter how anonymous you are they will try to find you and probably succeed in finding you.

The most common way eBay finds out who you really are is by getting a court order to look at the information on the bank account that is attached to your PayPal account.

Once they have found you by looking at your bank account or by using other resources they use. Ebay will take legal actions against you and take you to court. Resulting in you owing alot of money and probably losing your freedom depending on what you did.

I want to also say that the more times people take money from eBay the more safeguards they will put in place against stealth accounts and moving large amounts of money through PayPal.

They can garnish your wages but they will not sue you or come to your house. Selling high end bags and clothesl on ebay is risky business really. Make sure you have receipt copies to prove authenticity.

HELP!
I am a minor living in the US. I currently have a negative PayPal balance (less than $1,000) due to someone claiming to have never gotten their item, and as we all know, the buyer always wins. I do not plan to pay this back. I have notified PayPal of the issue, they limited my account and said I needed to provide a photo ID, proof of address (utility bill) and a few other things. I said I was unable to do so because I'm under 18. Since I'm under 18 they told me they have permanently limited my account, now they won't even reply to me since they know I'm under 18. What can happen if I refuse to pay?

Can you fight? Yo camps are harder then prisons here in the us.

If they have ZERO details about you and you haven't provided any docs, then just change IP and get away. Forget about this acc/e-mail. They need your docs in order to send you to collectors/debts.
